Bio – Kelli Waldron

Kelli is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Wisconsin. She has
been practicing in the mental health field for 10 years and now owner of Care and
Compassion Counseling, LLC. She received her Master’s in Counseling at UW-
Whitewater in 2015 when she began practicing as a therapist in the OCD & Anxiety
Partial Hospitalization Program at Rogers Behavioral Health in Appleton, WI. There she became trained in cognitive behavioral therapy and learned how to treat patients utilizing evidence-based practices such as exposure and response prevention therapy (ERP), behavioral activation (BA), and prolonged exposure (PE).

Kelli specializes in working with the adolescent and adult populations with
OCD/anxiety disorders and trauma, but also works with clients who are struggling with adjustment disorders and depression, and anything in between.

Kelli believes that everyone has a different story, so no 2 people’s treatment plan
should be the same. It should be individualized, and meeting the client where they are at. This can look very different for everyone. For some, this may mean actively engaging in exposure and response prevention therapy to conquer fears, and for others it may mean processing their childhood to gain insight on what certain behaviors stem from. Either way, Kelli spends time getting to know each client and builds a trusting relationship with them by teaching care and compassion for THEMSELVES! Because we can’t pour from an empty cup.
